Equalum announced that Moti Beharav, a seasoned technology and sales leader with over 20 years of experience delivering growth at both start-ups and global corporations, has joined the company’s leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer. Moti will be responsible for leading the company’s global sales efforts, business development, and marketing teams.
Equalum’s Data Beaming technology, which enables companies to seamlessly move data from legacy applications, operational databases, files, and IIoT sensors to central data stores has been rapidly adopted in the past year, leading to a 7X growth year-over-year. Equalum has been signing on marquee clients in industries such as manufacturing, IIoT, oil & gas, retail, and media.
“Our continued growth and expansion into new markets bring with it a new set of challenges”, said Nir Livneh, Equalum CEO and Founder. “Moti’s proven track record, deep knowledge and understanding of our industry, and methodical approach to enhancing Sales and Marketing processes make him the perfect choice to address these challenges and achieve our sales mission.”
Prior to Equalum, Moti spent 13 years at Cisco, in various global Sales and Business Development leadership roles. In his last role, as sales director, he grew the network management, orchestration, automation, and virtualization software business in the Americas to over $150M. Previously he led business development at Deep Packet Inspection platform P-Cube (acquired by Cisco in 2004) and strategic alliances and product development at VOIP pioneer VocalTec.
“I’m thrilled to join Equalum at this point in its evolution,” said Beharav. “Equalum’s unique approach to real-time data streaming, combined with its strong team, places it in a perfect position to address the burning market needs of Fortune 500 enterprises. I’m looking forward to adding fuel to the fire and lead Equalum’s explosive growth.”
